Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Garrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel Torres will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Torres tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garrison paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Torres tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Garrison tries to counter by clinching up but Torres breaks away and moves out of range.
Torres swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Garrison moves into the clinch.

Torres lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Garrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Torres is fighting to break Garrison's control of his arms but Garrison is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Garrison holds on and takes a little breather.
Garrison has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Garrison manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Torres is trying to push Garrison away but Garrison has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A frustrated look appears on Torres's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Garrison has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Garrison lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Torres has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Torres and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Garrison jumps guard and drags Torres to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

and Garrison decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Torres's guard.

Garrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Garrison has hold of Torres's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Torres manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Garrison loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Torres scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Garrison land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Garrison stands and salutes the crowd.
