Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Small!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Alberti!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alberti drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alberti's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Small is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Small isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Alberti stacks Small on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Alberti!
Small pushes Alberti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Alberti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Small is looking for a sweep.
Small is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Small actively working from the bottom here.
Small slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alberti sitting in guard here, content to control.
Alberti won't allow Small to sweep him here.
Small keeping full guard, as Alberti tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alberti engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Alberti slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Small strikes from the bottom but Alberti takes advantage and advances to full mount!
Alberti pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Small is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Alberti cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Small is rocked!
Alberti takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Oh Small is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Small looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Alberti has the hooks in. Small is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Alberti controlling the position well here. Small rolled but Alberti kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Alberti's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Alberti has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
More stalling from Alberti.
