The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osbourne throws a nice looking combination but Gilmore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gilmore showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Osbourne.

Gilmore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Osbourne throws a right and a left that Gilmore avoids nicely.
Gilmore tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Osbourne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Despite the aggression on Osbourne's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

As Osbourne tries to get set, Gilmore tries to push him back and clinch up but Osbourne manages to avoid the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Osbourne lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gilmore backwards.

Osbourne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gilmore thumps Osbourne with a low kick.
Osbourne connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gilmore tumbling to the canvas! Osbourne pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gilmore was done - good stoppage!
