Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vince Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaiah Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Isaiah Ferguson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaiah Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee asks Green politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Green prefers to stall for the moment though.
Green really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Green is trying to ground and pound but Ferguson uses the momentary lack of control by Green to regain half guard.
Green passes to side control.
Green has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferguson misses with a takedown attempt
and Green counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ferguson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Green walks away with a smile on his face. Ferguson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vince Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaiah Ferguson.
Green decides to pull guard.
Green is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ferguson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Green is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ferguson, into his guard.
Green passes Ferguson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Green decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Green closes the distance and pushes Ferguson back into the cage.
Ferguson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Green smiles and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Green jumps into guard, dragging Ferguson to the mat.
Ferguson drops back looking for a leg! Green is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Green manages to kick Ferguson off! Ferguson jumps back into Green's guard.
Ferguson has gone for a leg lock! Green slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ferguson's guard.
Green pushing down on Ferguson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Green is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Green misses with a head shot. Ferguson uses the momentum to regain guard.
Green looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Green wants to pass the guard but Ferguson is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Green gets to his feet. Ferguson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ferguson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Green looking to score a takedown here. Ferguson is defending well but Green drives through and ends up in Ferguson's guard.
Green wants to pass the guard but Ferguson is keeping the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ferguson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Green controls the pace.
Ferguson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Green doesn't defend quickly enough and Ferguson has managed to lock this one up! Can Green escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ferguson on a fantastic submission victory.
