Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Riley shoots in but Bryan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bryan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Riley is fending him off so far but Bryan persists. Nope, Riley circles away and we're back to standing.
Riley pushes Bryan away with a front kick.
Riley thuds his right hand into Bryan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

letting Riley counter with a right hand.

Riley has Bryan up against the cage in a clinch.
Bryan takes an elbow to the forehead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riley keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bryan's efforts to push away.
Bryan tries to circle away but Riley has him pinned against the cage.
Riley wants a takedown.
Bryan jumps guard but Riley stands there with Bryan around his waist. Bryan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Riley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bryan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Riley tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Bryan manages to move to mount!
Riley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bryan on the ground.
Riley tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Riley is working hard here to advance position.
Riley is in a horrible position here. Bryan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Riley is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Riley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bryan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Oh Riley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee warns Riley that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
