Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kira Miyata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyata comes into the arena with Boa - Energetic blaring out of the sound system. Escobar has chosen KoRn En Vivo Mtv as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Miyata slips under a jab.

Escobar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown but Miyata manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Escobar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pablo Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Escobar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miyata moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miyata tries to counter with a takedown but Escobar is quick to defend against it.
Escobar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Escobar pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Miyata back to the cage. Escobar follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Miyata was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Escobar throws an off balance right hand
and Miyata counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Miyata tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Escobar was well out of range. Poor timing from Miyata.
Miyata is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Miyata shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Escobar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Miyata is just content to waste time from the top position. Escobar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Escobar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miyata gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Miyata postures up in Escobar's guard and throws a big left but Escobar blocks it.

Escobar controls Miyata momentarily but Miyata frees himself.
Miyata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Escobar looking for a triangle here. Miyata is fighting it but it looks tight! Escobar pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Miyata is tapping out - this one is all over!
