The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peas dives in for a single leg takedown but Kowalski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Peas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kowalski was covering up waiting for the punch and Peas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Peas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kowalski stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Peas has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kowalski manages to get his head free but now Peas has transitioned to an armbar! Kowalski grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Peas! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
