Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Holmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggy Plumper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biggy Plumper will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Plumper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Holmen, pushing him back against the ropes.
Plumper tries to land knees in the clinch but Holmen avoids the damage to the body.
Plumper is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Holmen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Plumper goes for a takedown in the clinch but Holmen prevents it.

Holmen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Plumper avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Holmen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Holmen passes Plumper's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Plumper looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Holmen thows a huge punch but Plumper dodges it nicely.

Holmen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Plumper tries to roll over but Holmen keeps him under control.
Holmen wants to pass the guard but Plumper is defending well.
Holmen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Holmen is looking to take a break and control but Plumper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Holmen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Plumper but Plumper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Holmen is looking to work his way around to Plumper's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Holmen has hold of Plumper's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Plumper manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Holmen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Plumper's head.

Plumper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Holmen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Holmen's back!

Holmen rolls, trying to escape but Plumper keeps control of the position.

Plumper with shots to the head and body - Holmen looks very uncomfortable down there.
Plumper can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holmen is looking to escape.
Holmen regains half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Plumper wants to take a breather but Holmen is having none of it.
Plumper wants to stand but Holmen has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Holmen manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Biggy Plumper dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Plumper lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Holmen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sami Holmen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Plumper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Holmen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Holmen circles away from the clinch attempt.

Holmen has Plumper up against the ropes in a clinch.
Plumper tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Holmen's elbow.
Plumper tries to pull guard but Holmen holds him up against the ropes and eventually Plumper drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holmen ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Holmen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Plumper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Plumper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Holmen is looking for a sweep.
Plumper lands an elbow.
Holmen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Plumper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Holmen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Plumper looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Holmen is trying to get back to half guard.

Plumper is working to tighten is grip on Holmen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Holmen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Plumper is really squeezing tight and eventually Holmen passes out! Plumper breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
