Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chiun Remo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deangelo Flagg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flagg has chosen What Its Like as his entrance music. Chiun Remo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Deangelo Flagg's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Deangelo Flagg!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flagg is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Remo's half guard.
Remo is looking for a sweep. Flagg is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like Deangelo Flagg has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Remo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Flagg, who protects the arm well.

That was a close round but I would say that Chiun Remo will probably get the nod.

Flagg rushes Remo and presses him up against the cage.
Remo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Flagg lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Flagg tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Remo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Flagg manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Remo has Flagg in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Remo shoots in but Flagg avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Flagg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Chiun Remo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flagg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No luck for Flagg with that takedown attempt.
