Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaw comes to the cage accompanied by Silver Bullet - Bring Forth The Guillotine. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Shaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw walks into a stiff left hand from Diaz.
Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss.

Shaw moves into range and clinches up with Diaz.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Shaw.
Diaz lands a body shot in the clinch.

Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Diaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shaw wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A head kick misses from Shaw.
A combination from Diaz does no damage.
Shaw swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Shaw scores with the left hand. Diaz knows he should have avoided that one.
Shaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shaw connects with a body shot that sends Diaz's belly button to the back.
Diaz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shaw counters with a two punch combo.
Shaw looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Shaw closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shaw throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Shaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Diaz throws a shot from downtown. Shaw moves away and avoids it.
Diaz takes a jab right on the kisser.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz misses with a double jab
and Shaw counters with a stiff right hand.

Diaz is rocked!

It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
Shaw lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Diaz is looking to close the distance but Shaw sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Diaz crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Diaz is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
