Durden comes into the arena with The Dust Brothers - This Is Your Life blaring out of the sound system. Xander Cage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Cage!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Durden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cage can pounce on him.
Durden swings for the body but Cage moves out of range.
Durden scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Durden on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Durden misses the jab.
Durden walks into a stiff left hand from Cage.


It looks like Tyler Durden has been cut.
Durden takes a swing at Cage's ribcage but misses.
Durden lands a lovely overhand right.
Cage connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Durden's hands.
Durden misses with a body shot.
Durden misses the jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Durden connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cage moves out of range of the leg kick from Durden.

Durden throws a series of punches but Cage avoids them all with ease.
Cage scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Durden is looking to wear down Cage with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Cage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Durden misses with a wild body shot.
Durden throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cage tries to counter by closing the distance.
A swing and a miss from Durden.
Durden scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Good exchange - Durden coming out on top.
Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Durden swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Durden drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Durden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cage works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Durden content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Durden in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cage working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Durden.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cage wants to stand and escape but Durden is having none of it.
Durden wants to control from the top but Cage keeps moving.
Durden stands and throws Cage's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've been hearing that Durden has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Durden throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Durden working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Cage is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Durden is controlling him well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Durden is working Cage over with some ground and pound from side control.
Cage pushes Durden away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Durden gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Durden creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cage sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Durden is looking to take a break and control but Cage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Durden lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Durden tries to advance to mount but Cage denies him.

Cage sneaks out the side door and pushes Durden away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cage throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Durden tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cage was well out of range. Poor timing from Durden.
Durden misses with an uppercut.
The crowd cheers as Durden lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cage doesn't seem phased though.
Durden lands a really nice looking cross but Cage seems unphased.
Durden throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Durden takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A slow jab from Durden misses its intended target.
Durden lands with a nice combination. Cage backs away looking to recover.


Cage is rocked!
Durden lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cage at a distance.
Cage is still on wobbly legs! Can Durden finish him?
Durden misses with an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Durden dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tyler Durden's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Durden throws a series of strikes that have Cage backpedaling.
Jab by Cage.
Cage smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cage seems to have recovered his senses.
Cage bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Durden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cage manages to avoid it.
Cage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Durden.
Durden connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Durden connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cage. Cage circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cage moves out of range of the strikes.
Cage just misses with a punch to the body.
Durden misses with a few strikes there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A jab-cross combination lands for Durden and sends Cage crashing to the mat! Durden follows him down to the mat - Cage regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Durden scores with a big shot! Cage's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Cage! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Durden!
During a confident post fight interview, Tyler Durden thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
