Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rigel Arsscott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lucas Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Da Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Arsscott quickly recovers to half guard.
Arsscott manages to get to full guard.
Arsscott is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Da Silva is controlling him.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Da Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arsscott swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Da Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Arsscott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Da Silva postures up in Arsscott's guard and throws a big left but Arsscott blocks it.
Arsscott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Da Silva prevents Arsscott from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Arsscott wants to stand and escape but Da Silva is having none of it.

Arsscott is looking to stand up but Da Silva isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Da Silva shoots in and bounces Arsscott off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Da Silva won't allow Arsscott to get back to his feet.
Da Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Arsscott is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Da Silva is controlling him well.
Da Silva tries to advance to mount but Arsscott denies him.
Da Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arsscott keeps working.
Arsscott is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Da Silva tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Da Silva wants to control but Arsscott is keeping him busy.

Arsscott throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

A slapping leg kick lands for Da Silva.
Some wild striking there from Da Silva.
Arsscott walks forward, straight into a front kick from Da Silva.
Arsscott throws a shot from downtown. Da Silva moves away and avoids it.
Da Silva is looking for the big counter here.
Arsscott has a takedown stuffed.
Da Silva avoids the head kick by Arsscott.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Arsscott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Da Silva - the referee stops the clock and Arsscott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Da Silva. Arsscott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Arsscott is breathing heavily.
Arsscott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Da Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Da Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Da Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A thudding body kick lands there by Da Silva!
Da Silva throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Arsscott colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Da Silva as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Arsscott is left battered and dazed whilst Da Silva and his camp cheer!
