Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Wiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Alzate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is SouthSide. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alzate.
Alzate's coach down at Masaru Fighting Systems II was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Alzate's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Wiz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Alzate sizes up Wiz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Alzate. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Wiz walks forward, straight into a front kick from Alzate.

Wiz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Alzate.
Wiz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alzate sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Alzate feints a jab promting Wiz to slip. Alzate then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wiz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Alzate throws a leg kick but Wiz sees it coming and checks it nicely.
