Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artie DeVanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar comes to the cage accompanied by Big Pun - Brave in The Heart. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from DeVanzo.
DeVanzo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Escobar finds it's way round the side to connect with DeVanzo's head.
Escobar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from DeVanzo.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that DeVanzo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
DeVanzo throws a wild body kick that Escobar sees coming a mile off.

Escobar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Escobar's coaches at Breakdown Club have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Escobar will probably get the nod.
