Schelokov's entrance music is Sirens . A fine choice. Tappenahomma has chosen Tatanka as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schelokov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tappenahomma on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Chief Tappenahomma has been cut.
Schelokov throws a head kick that misses
and Tappenahomma holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tappenahomma lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Schelokov is trying to push Tappenahomma away but Tappenahomma has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Schelokov breaks the clinch.
Schelokov scores with a jab to the body.
Schelokov swings for the body but Tappenahomma moves out of range.
Tappenahomma ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Schelokov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Schelokov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Schelokov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Schelokov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Tappenahomma counters with a two punch combo.
Schelokov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tappenahomma! But no joy.

Schelokov is rocked!
Tappenahomma lets loose with a powerful body kick. Schelokov will feel that in the morning.
Oh Schelokov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schelokov leaves his chin hanging out and Tappenahomma seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Schelokov crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chief Tappenahomma!
Chief Tappenahomma decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
