Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fletcher Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Achilles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Achilles gets a double leg takedown into Moran's guard.

Moran pushes Achilles off and gets back to his feet.

Achilles closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moran did well to prevent Achilles getting side control.
Moran wants to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Achilles in particular looking to stall.
Moran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You can see the frustration on Moran's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Achilles uses his free foot to push down on Moran's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moran.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Achilles stalling.
Moran has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Achilles is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Achilles seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moran does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Moran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Achilles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Achilles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Achilles throws a series of punches but Moran moves out of range.

Moran is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Achilles is looking to work some ground and pound but Moran has wrist control.

Moran is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Achilles rolls with it to try and escape but Moran cranks on the arm and Achilles is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
