The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Gomez throws a looping overhand right but Baba ducks down to avoid it.
Baba tries a quick counter leg kick but Gomez is wise to it.
Gomez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Baba explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Gomez misses with a straight right.
Baba raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Gomez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
