Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cox and Parker Michaels. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right.
With a record of 7 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Helsinki, Parker Michaels!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Michaels closes the distance and clinches.
Michaels swings wildly with an uppercut but Cox uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Michaels struggles to land a body shot inside as Cox controls his hands.

Michaels has picked Cox up - he's going for a ride! Michaels dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

We've been informed that Michaels has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

We've been hearing that Cox has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That was a close round but Daniel Cox did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Michaels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cox can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Michaels swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Michaels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
