Nemkov comes to the cage accompanied by eRa - enae Volare Mezzo. Kruiz has chosen ZARILA KANDZE as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Nemkov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Kruiz!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemkov throws a jab when Kruiz was well out of range.
Kruiz changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nemkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kruiz.
Kruiz's corner calls for a 1-2. Kruiz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A shot to the body from Nemkov misses

and Kruiz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nemkov won't be happy with that.
Nemkov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kruiz wants to control but Nemkov is keeping him busy.

Kruiz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Kruiz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nemkov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kruiz advances nicely into full mount.

Kruiz working for a guillotine from mount but Nemkov is in no mood to give up.
Nemkov tries to reverse the position but Kruiz maintains control.
Kruiz in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Kruiz lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Kruiz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kruiz is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nemkov is surviving well by controlling Kruiz's body position as best he can.
Kruiz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nemkov is working to get back to half guard.
Kruiz wants to control the pace but Nemkov is squirming around nicely.

Kruiz wants to finish this one by submission but Nemkov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kruiz.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nemkov tries to lock up and control but Kruiz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The referee warns Nemkov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kruiz throwing strikes here but Nemkov is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Nemkov can't escape the position.
Kruiz unloads with some shots from mount but Nemkov bucks and avoids them well.
Nemkov blocking the ground and pound.
Nemkov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
A nice elbow there by Kruiz.

Kruiz is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kruiz!

Jumping up and down and very excited, Tom Kruiz waved his t-shirt featuring Mohito Fightwear's logo in front of the cameras.
The defeated Oleg Nemkov had this to say: 'The champ was a much better fighter tonight, but I believe he will be moving on to bigger and better things. I would like to fight for the vacant belt as soon as possible'.
