The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pajulahti shoots in for a double leg but Westernfield sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
As Pajulahti backs off Westernfield throws a huge counter combo but Pajulahti manages to avoid it all.

Westernfield breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pajulahti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erkka Pajulahti. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pajulahti changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Westernfield looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pajulahti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Westernfield on the ground.
Westernfield is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pajulahti off and has taken his back!

Westernfield is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pajulahti is defending well though. Westernfield let's go of the attempt for now.
