Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Whitaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Whitaker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitaker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Whitaker connects with the punch.
The crowd cheers as Whitaker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Austin doesn't seem phased though.
Austin staying out of range there.
Whitaker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
An inside leg kick from Austin misses.
Austin throws a head kick that misses.
Whitaker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Austin tries to counter by clinching up but Whitaker breaks away and moves out of range.
Austin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Austin darts in trying to clinch
and Whitaker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Austin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Austin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Austin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Whitaker 's head backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Austin digs a good hook to Whitaker 's body.
Austin needs to keep his hands up - Whitaker had a free shot at his head there.
Austin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A shot to the body from Whitaker misses
and Austin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Whitaker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Austin is rocked!
Whitaker checks a low kick from Austin.
Oh Austin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Austin throws a sloppy body shot
and Whitaker counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
