Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ko Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ko Power has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ko Power!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meadows ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Power has taken the fight to the clinch.
Meadows tries to break the clinch but Power is controlling the position.

Meadows manages to pull guard.
Meadows could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Power tries to stand but Meadows is controlling from the bottom.
Meadows might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Meadows wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Meadows working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Power doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Power manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meadows pulls Power in close to prevent any damage.

Power wanted to stand there but Meadows had control of the position.
Power is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power wants to stand but Meadows is controlling his posture from full guard.
Power is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Power misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Power throws a quick inside leg kick.
Power's coach down at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Power's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Power pushes Meadows up against the cage in a clinch.
Power using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Meadows has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Meadows manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Power wants to get up but he can't break Meadows's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Meadows has a closed guard, preventing Power from standing up.
Meadows is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Power wants to control from the top but Meadows keeps moving.
Power trying to stand up but can't free himself from Meadows's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Power drops Meadows with a beautiful combination! Meadows stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Power is looking for the KO!

Meadows is rocked!

It looks like Tyrell Meadows has been cut.
Power feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Meadows crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). ko Power!
