The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hach has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Quinton Hach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hach uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Geerts takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hach, right into the meat.
Geerts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Geerts there as he acknowledges the shot.
Davy Geerts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hach ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Geerts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hach connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Hach moves into range and clinches up with Geerts.
Hach lands with a short shot to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hach tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Geerts seems to have got his legs back now.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Hach in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Hach creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Geerts with a big uppercut! Geerts tries to clinch up but Hach pushes him back against the ropes and lands another moster strike that crumples Geerts to the mat! Geerts covers up and Hach unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
