Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vijay Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry has chosen Unashamed as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vijay Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Henry!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Henry misses with a low kick.
Henry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Singh moves away.
Henry with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Singh has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rape Academy (7 elite, 6 2x elite) in the buildup to the fight.

Henry shoots in and bounces Singh off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Singh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nice straight punches there by Henry. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Henry.
Henry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Singh.
It looked like Singh was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Henry manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Singh on his heels. He'll look to pass Singh's guard now, I'm sure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Henry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Henry stalling away here and it's allowed Singh to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

I would just about give that final round to John Henry.
Well Henry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
