Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cavan Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mangold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by The Irish Fighting Song. Mangold has chosen Dead Prez as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Danny Mangold was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Mangold defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cartwright.

Mangold looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cartwright with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mangold passes the guard and advances to mount!
Mangold is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cartwright can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cartwright slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Cartwright is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mangold pulls his head out easily.
Mangold seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cartwright is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Danny Mangold got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
