The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemsworth looks for the body kick but Dale saw that one coming.
Dale throws a quick counter head kick but Hemsworth was just out of range.

Hemsworth shoots in and bounces Dale off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hemsworth slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hemsworth has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dale is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hemsworth yanks on the arm and Dale is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hemsworth.
