Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hioko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hioko steps into range and cracks LaFleche with a monster punch that buckles his knees! LaFleche flops backwards and Hioko dives into his guard looking to finish!

Hioko wants to stand but LaFleche has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hioko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and LaFleche has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from LaFleche and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
