Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pepa Kolisko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pepa Kolisko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Ian Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Pepa Kolisko!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolisko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lang.
Pepa Kolisko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kolisko shoots for a double leg takedown but Lang sprawls well. He's pushed Kolisko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kolisko throws an overhand right that lands on Lang's shoulder, as Lang tries to avoid the shot.
Lang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Lang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lang steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kolisko. That one must have hurt.

Kolisko throws a right and a left that Lang avoids nicely.
Kolisko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kolisko.
Lang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lang seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Kolisko just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromLang.

Lang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lang has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lang.
Lang is breathing heavily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kolisko.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kolisko rushes Lang and presses him up against the cage.

Kolisko jumps guard but Lang stands there with Kolisko around his waist. Kolisko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lang gets to his feet. Kolisko looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lang clinches up with Kolisko and pushes him back against the cage.
Lang fails to pull guard.
Kolisko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Come on Lang - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kolisko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kolisko tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lang changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kolisko fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pepa Kolisko dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kolisko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kolisko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lang regains half guard.
Lang is looking for a sweep. Kolisko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kolisko prevents Lang from improving his position.

Kolisko misses with a head shot. Lang uses the momentum to regain guard.
Kolisko trying to control the position from guard on top but Lang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kolisko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lang swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kolisko has gone for a leg lock! Lang slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kolisko's guard.

Kolisko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kolisko has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kolisko pushes Lang off and scrambles back to his feet.

Kolisko has Lang up against the cage in a clinch.

Kolisko ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kolisko no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Lang tries to stand but Kolisko is controlling from the bottom.
Kolisko wants to sweep but no luck.
Kolisko has a closed guard, preventing Lang from standing up.

Lang gets to his feet - Kolisko follows without any prompting.

Kolisko drives through and clinches with Lang against the cage.
Kolisko jumps guard but Lang stands there with Kolisko around his waist. Kolisko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kolisko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kolisko manages to end up in side control.
Lang prevents Kolisko from improving position.

Pepa Kolisko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lang seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kolisko for as long as he can get away with.

Lang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kolisko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lang takes a swing at Kolisko's ribcage but misses.
Kolisko is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Lang throws a head kick but Kolisko moves out of range.

Kolisko dives in for a single leg takedown but Lang sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lang is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

and Lang counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Lang is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kolisko can't fight it off and eventually Lang manages to take the fight to the floor. Kolisko looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kolisko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kolisko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kolisko, up you get!

Kolisko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kolisko showed some decent athleticism there.
Lang regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ian Lang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Pepa Kolisko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Pepa Kolisko has got the better of the ground game so far.
