Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Boy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Burns!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Burns needs to keep his hands up - Boy had a free shot at his head there.


It looks like James Burns has been cut.
Boy throws a sloppy head kick and Burns moves out of range easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Boy, right into the meat.
Boy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Burns shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boy defends it nicely.
Boy scores with a head kick. Burns tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burns looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boy lands a nice looking body kick.
Burns fails to land the takedown.

Boy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Boy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jay Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burns is looking to clinch.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch but Boy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boy scores with a nice body kick.
Boy throws a sloppy head kick and Burns moves out of range easily.
Boy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Burns tries to clinch up but Boy circles away and keeps his distance.
Burns takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Boy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Boy fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burns with a poor takedown
and Boy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jay Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Burns.
Burns on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick misses from Boy.
Burns throws a poor cross that misses
and Boy counters with a left to the body.
Burns tries to clinch
and Boy counters with a leg kick.
Burns gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boy counters with a nice uppercut.

and Boy counters with a stiff right hand.
Burns looks winded!
Boy scores with a head kick.
Burns changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boy tries to avoid it but Burns manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boy to the ground. Boy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burns's head backwards.
Burns is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Burns just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBoy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Burns.
Boy is looking to slow Burns down with leg kicks.
Boy scores with a jab to the jaw.
Boy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Boy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


That has opened up James Burns's cut even more.
Boy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Burnss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Burns drops his hands momentarily and Boy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Burns tries to clinch but Boy is having none of it.
Burns sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Boy connects with the punch.


The cut above James Burns's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Burns takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Boy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Burns gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Boy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Boy lands a nice looking body shot.
Boy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Boy scores with a three punch combo!
Boy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Boy. Burns shrugs it off though.
Boy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


James Burns's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
An inside leg kick lands from Boy.
Boy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Boy throws a front kick that sends Burns stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Boy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on James Burns's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Boy slaps away a takedown attempt from Burns, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Burns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boy throws a head kick but Burns moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Burns.
Jay Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Burns.
Boy scores with a jab to the head.

Burns misses with a straight left.
Burns has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Boy.
Burns fails to land the takedown.

Burns takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Burns is breathing heavily.
A head kick from Boy lands but Burns takes it in his stride.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Burns's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jay Boy!
Jay Boy retains his heavyweight title!
Jay Boy bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
