Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelin's entrance music is Krynitza - Motherland. A fine choice. Roc has chosen ATB - Believe In Me as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roc slips a straight right by Karelin.
Karelin shoots in looking for a takedown. Roc tries to sprawl out of it but Karelin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Karelin wants the takedown. Roc is fighting it off but Karelin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Roc's guard against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Karelin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roc is looking to escape.
