The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bart.
Herrera works over Bart's head and body with a nice combination.
Bart misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bart lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Bart has closed the distance and engaged Herrera in a clinch.
Bart tries to pull guard but Herrera holds him up against the cage and eventually Bart drops back down to his feet.
Caleb Herrera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Bart.
Herrera wants to break free but Bart has control.

Bart is looking for a sweep. Herrera is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Herrera's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Herrera is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Herrera has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
