The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bright wants to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bright throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Bright moves in looking to clinch but Bunny pushes him off.

Bright moves into range and clinches up with Bunny.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Bright drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bunny pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bright motions for Bunny to come forward. Bright throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bright tries to close the distance and clinch but Bunny swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And Bunny tries to counter it with a takedown but Bright pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Bright throws a sloppy head kick and Bunny moves out of range easily.

Bright has managed to clinch.
Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bright is pressed up against the cage. Bunny has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bright down to the mat. Bright avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Bright will probably get the nod.

Bright is trying to trip Bunny. He has hold of a leg but Bunny is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bright persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Bunny's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Bunny wants to control but Bright passes easily into half guard.
Bunny is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bright jumps into side control!

Bunny is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bright is controlling him well.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bright misses with a head kick.
Bunny keeps the fight on the outside.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bright fails in his attempt to clinch.

Bright is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bunny can do to turn this around?
Bright throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Bunny counters by clinching up.
Bright is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bunny is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Bunny stands and throws Bright's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bunny has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bright is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bunny yanks on the arm and Bright is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bunny.
