PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dog The Multi Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silky Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Multi Hunter throws a leg kick but Johnson checks it.
The Multi Hunter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Johnson is out of range and The Multi Hunter settles back down.
The Multi Hunter cracks Johnson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The Multi Hunter has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Multi Hunter wants to sweep but no luck.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Multi Hunter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Let's hope that Johnson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
