Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Quillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OJ Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Quillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, OJ Simpson!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson wants to clinch up but Quillo keeps it at a distance.
Simpson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quillo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Quillo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Simpson smiles and moves away.
Quillo shoots in for a takedown but Simpson shows good takedown defense.

Quillo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Simpson keeping moving, preventing Quillo from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quillo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Quillo is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quillo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Simpson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Simpson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Quillo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Simpson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Simpson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Quillo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

OJ Simpson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

A head punch on the inside from Quillo fails to land.
Simpson is looking to control Quillo's arms but Quillo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Simpson has his back to the cage.
Quillo jumps guard but Simpson stands there with Quillo around his waist. Quillo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Quillo has his foot on Simpson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Simpson works his way back into a safe position though.

OJ Simpson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Simpson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
