PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Unz Unz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Unz Unz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Unz Unz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coleman is fending him off so far but Unz persists. Nope, Coleman circles away and we're back to standing.
Unz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Unz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Unz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Coleman defends well and Unz ends up having to push Coleman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Unz Unz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Unz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Coleman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Coleman wants it to stay on the feet.
Coleman throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Unz counters with a shoot takedown. Coleman fights it but they end up in guard.

Coleman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Unz stacks Coleman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Unz!

Unz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Unz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleman is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Unz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Coleman wants to control but Unz postures up.

Coleman regains half guard.
Unz stops Coleman from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Unz is looking for a kimura but Coleman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Unz to get the leverage.

Coleman is defending against the submission attempts here by Unz.

Unz wants to work for an arm triangle but Coleman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Coleman is looking to escape.

Coleman manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Unz keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Unz tries to score a body lock takedown but Coleman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Unz tries to pull guard but Coleman holds him up against the cage and eventually Unz drops back down to his feet.

Unz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Coleman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Unz to the mat. Unz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Coleman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Unz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Unz is breathing heavily.
Coleman lands a couple of elbows.

Coleman is in close to Unz's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Unz has momentary wrist control but Coleman slips an elbow through the middle.
Coleman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Unz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Coleman escapes and throws Unz's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Coleman happy to just control the position for now.

Coleman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Unz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Unz is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Unz is looking to reverse the position.
Coleman cracks Unz with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Coleman lands a nice forearm strike.
Unz tries to improve position but can't.
Coleman tries to move to mount but Unz blocks the move with his legs.
Coleman staying calm.

Coleman tries to advance to mount but Unz denies him.
Coleman is chipping away with strikes.

Black Coleman dominated that round.

and Coleman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Unz won't be happy with that.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coleman wants to take a breather but Unz is having none of it.
Coleman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Coleman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Unz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Coleman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coleman lands a nice short elbow.

Unz actively working from the bottom here.
Coleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Coleman scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Coleman scores with a big shot! Unz's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Unz! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Black Coleman gave a mention to GREEN!160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
