Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rubin Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asi Zaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubin Landry has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Zaro shoots in and bounces Landry off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Zaro gets to his feet - Landry follows without any prompting.
Landry tries to clinch there but Zaro circles away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zaro slaps away a takedown attempt from Landry, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Zaro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Landry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zaro.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Zaro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Landry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zaro is in Landry's guard.
Zaro is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Zaro wanted to stand there but Landry had control of the position.
Zaro postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Zaro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zaro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

I would not like to be Landry right now.
Zaro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Zaro is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Landry has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Zaro is persistently looking for the submission but Landry is defending it well.

What can Landry do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well Zaro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
