PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ghani Ogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Finn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ghani Ogle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Richard Finn!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finn throws a head kick that misses.
Ogle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ogle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ogle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Finn throws a nice head kick!
Finn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ogle jabs at Finn's body.
Ogle lands a body shot.
Ogle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Finn's hands.
Finn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Finn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ogle connects with a looping right hand.
Finn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Finn tries to counter with a clinch but Ogle shakes him off and moves away.
Finn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ghani Ogle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Finn.
Finn looks winded!

Ogle lands with a nice body punch.
Ogle with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ogle connects with a body shot.
Finn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ogle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ogle dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ogle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Finn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ogle scores with a nice head shot.
A left lands for Ogle.
Finn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ogle thuds a left hand into Finn's body.
Ogle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ogle scores with a jab to the body.
Ogle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ogle connects with a body shot that sends Finn's belly button to the back.
Ogle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ogle connects with a crisp jab.

Finn is rocked!
Ogle is looking to wear down Finn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Ogle scores with a shot to the body.
Finn is still on wobbly legs! Can Ogle finish him?
Ogle drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Finn right on the button. Finn goes down! Ogle follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Ogle gets the win via TKO!
