Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Abramov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Driver, as that shot connected.
Driver scores with a hook to the body. Abramov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Abramov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A little jabbing left from Driver on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Abramov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Driver checks it well.
Abramov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Driver but Driver pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Abramov stuns Driver with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Driver misses with a straight right.
Abramov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Abramov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dre Driver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abramov pivots, looking for a leg kick but Driver is out of range and Abramov settles back down.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Driver throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Abramov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Abramov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Abramov tries for a takedown but Driver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vlad Abramov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Abramov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Despite the aggression on Driver's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Driver lands a nice hook to Abramov's body. Abramov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Driver might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Driver felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Driver ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Abramov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Abramov takes a swing at Driver's ribcage but misses.

Abramov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Driver is trying to escape back to his feet but Abramov uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Abramov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Driver gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Abramov is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Driver reverses the position - he's now on top in Abramov's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Driver stays in close to Abramov's body and controls the position.
Vlad Abramov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Abramov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Driver circles away quickly and effectively.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Driver stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Driver sizes up Abramov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Driver connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Abramov's hands.
Driver throws out a powerful jab.
Driver has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Abramov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Driver engages and cracks Abramov with a massive lead left hook - Abramov tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Driver is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
