Shumway has chosen Ninja Man - Murder Dem as his entrance music. Gordon Shumway will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks throws a right hand that Shumway ducks under and follows up with a left that Shumway also avoids with ease.
Shumway misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Shumway counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Franks is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Franks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gordon Shumway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Franks shoots in looking for a takedown. Shumway tries to sprawl out of it but Franks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shumway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Franks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shumway jerks Franks's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Franks drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Shumway goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Shumway because Franks was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
