PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Craig Tucker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kang Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a poor cross that misses

so Tucker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Lee pushes Tucker off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Tucker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And Tucker tries to counter it with a takedown but Lee pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tucker!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tucker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tucker manages to get back to half guard.

Tucker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tucker's head.

Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tucker blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lee.
Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lee is working for a submission of some sort.
Tucker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tucker looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tucker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lee's back!

Tucker looking for the choke but no joy.

Tucker is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Lee won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Tucker off his unconscious opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Craig Tucker!
