Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaani Latvala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Locutus Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Latvala is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Locutus Borg will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Latvala moves out of range of the body kick from Borg.
Latvala appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Latvala looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Borg throws a head kick that misses.
Borg throws a jab when Latvala was well out of range.
Latvala takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Borg connects with the punch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Borg.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Borg, right into the meat.
Borg takes a swing at Latvala's ribcage but misses.
Borg throws a head kick that misses.
Borg misses with a hook. Latvala ducked under it nicely.

Borg rushes Latvala and presses him up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Borg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Borg connects with a good right hand that stumbles Latvala. Latvala circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Borg can't find room to land a body shot as Latvala controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Borg lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Latvala backwards.
Borg controlling the action here for a moment.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Borg creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Latvala managing to block the knees to the body from Borg.
Borg misses with a punch to the body.
Borg tries to throw a body punch but Latvala avoids it by throwing Borg back against the cage.
Borg using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Latvala has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Borg lands a nice knee to the body.

Borg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Borg cracks Latvala with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Borg has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Latvala to stand back up!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borg lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Latvala up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Borg from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Latvala's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
