The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glanville connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Dick Veiney has been cut.
Glanville slips a straight right by Veiney.
Glanville misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Glanville uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Terrance Glanville seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Veiney dodges the punch combination from Glanville.
Veiney tries to clinch up.
Veiney missing with a left hand there. Glanville was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Glanville bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Veiney moves forwards but Glanville connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Veiney dives in for a single leg takedown but Glanville sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Veiney throws a lazy right hand but Glanville sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Veiney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Glanville tries to avoid it but Veiney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Glanville to the ground. Glanville escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Glanville takes the fight into the clinch.

Glanville has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. Veiney has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.
