Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Jones!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jenkins!
Jenkins wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Jenkins is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
Jones avoids the attempt from Jenkins to control.
Jenkins really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Jenkins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jenkins is looking to escape.
Jones sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones prevents Jenkins from improving his position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jenkins trying to control from the bottom.
Jones throwing shots but Jenkins is blocking nicely.
Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jenkins is holding on to half guard well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jenkins takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jenkins misses with a few strikes there.

Jenkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jenkins manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jenkins throwing short punches from the bottom.
Jenkins wants to sweep but no luck.

Jenkins kicks Jones off and gets to his feet.

Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jenkins slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jones looks gassed!
Jenkins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Jenkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenkins has wrist control.
Jenkins has Jones pulled in close to control his posture.
Jenkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Jenkins.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mike Jones will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Jenkins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jenkins has one of Jones's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Jenkins is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jones off and has taken his back!
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jenkins really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jones.
Jenkins scores with punches to the body.

What can Jones do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Jenkins is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jones is defending well though. Jenkins let's go of the attempt for now.

Jenkins is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jones has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jenkins has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jones taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jenkins doesn't care though - he's delighted!
