Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goran Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Grzesiuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grzesiuk is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by PSY - Gangnam Style. Andrzej Grzesiuk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 73 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Goran Schwarzeneg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrzej Grzesiuk!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzeneg shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Grzesiuk defends it nicely.

Grzesiuk moves into the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Grzesiuk obliges.
Grzesiuk gets underhooks to prevent Schwarzeneg's takedown attempt.
Grzesiuk tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Grzesiuk has Schwarzeneg pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Schwarzeneg manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schwarzeneg is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

Grzesiuk has picked Schwarzeneg up - he's going for a ride! Grzesiuk dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Grzesiuk is looking for a kimura but Schwarzeneg is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grzesiuk to get the leverage.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Grzesiuk working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Grzesiuk thows a huge punch but Schwarzeneg dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grzesiuk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Grzesiuk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Schwarzeneg dives on top into guard.


Schwarzeneg stands up and waves to Grzesiuk to follow him.

Schwarzeneg tries to pull guard but Grzesiuk holds him up against the ropes and eventually Schwarzeneg drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goran Schwarzeneg. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grzesiuk has Schwarzeneg pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Grzesiuk pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Schwarzeneg tumbling to the mat - Grzesiuk dives into Schwarzeneg's guard.

Grzesiuk is pulling down on Schwarzeneg's head. It's preventing any offense from Schwarzeneg, at least for the moment.
Grzesiuk is trying to hold Schwarzeneg in close to prevent damage but Schwarzeneg has managed to pass into half guard.

Schwarzeneg has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Grzesiuk is on him like a limpet, forcing Schwarzeneg back against the ropes.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Andrzej Grzesiuk is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Schwarzeneg looks to land a strike but Grzesiuk avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Goran Schwarzeneg.
I think Grzesiuk has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
