Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Unkown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danjie Mercado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unkown comes into the arena with I.C.P. BITCHES! MIRrorCulZ blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mercado's choice of entrance music: Pagsubok. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mercado shoots for a double leg takedown but Unkown sprawls well. He's pushed Mercado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Unkown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mercado stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mercado has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Unkown has Mercado pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Unkown pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mercado tumbling to the mat - Unkown dives into Mercado's guard.

Mercado felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Unkown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mercado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Unkown has managed to get both his arms back between Mercado's legs - danger averted.
