The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stalks Gingerson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gingerson's face. Gingerson staggers backwards, shaken.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gingerson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.

Gingerson darts in and clinches Silva up against the ropes.

Gingerson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gingerson somewhat.
