Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big J Smiles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smiles's choice of entrance music: Smile Like You Mean It. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull keeps the fight on the outside.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pitbull.

Smiles clinches.
Smiles tries to throw a body punch but Pitbull avoids it by throwing Smiles back against the ropes.

Pitbull is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Pitbull is trying to drag Smiles to the mat but Smiles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Smiles escapes and gets back to his feet.
Pitbull dives in and grabs Smiles's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smiles pushes down on Pitbull's head and hops out.

Smiles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Pitbull shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smiles as he jumps to the side.

Oh Pitbull is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smiles connects with a nasty looking knee right to Pitbull's face.
Smiles lands a big knee to the head and Pitbull goes down! Smiles pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

After the fight, Big J Smiles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
