Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Flavio Nascimento!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nascimento pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boban throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boban lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nascimento circles away quickly and effectively.
Nascimento looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nascimento scores with a leg kick.
Flavio Nascimento seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nascimento clinches with his opponent.
Nascimento tries to throw a body punch but Boban avoids it by throwing Nascimento back against the ropes.
Boban takes a shot to the head.
Boban looking to stall.
Nascimento digs a right hand underneath Boban's ribcage. Boban let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Boban is breathing heavily.
Boban is trying to push Nascimento away but Nascimento has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nascimento lands a body punch.
Nascimento lands an uppercut.
It looks like Marko Boban has been cut.
Nascimento lands a left hand that snaps the head of Boban backwards.
Nascimento lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nascimento scores with a shoulder strike.
Nascimento lands with a right to the head.

Nascimento scores with a hook to the body.
Nascimento escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A slapping body kick lands there for Nascimento.
Nascimento throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boban stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nascimento lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nascimento misses with a low kick as Boban jumps back.
Nascimento throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nascimento drops Boban with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boban looks back up at him and smiles so Nascimento waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Boban is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boban drops his hands momentarily. Nascimento doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Boban staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Boban doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Flavio Nascimento!
