The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks slips a jab and a cross from Willems.
Willems fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Franks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Willems plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Shirley Franks has been cut.
Franks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Willems landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Willems is working Franks over against the cage.
Willems breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Willems throws a head kick that Franks semi-blocks.
Willems lands a nice leg kick that just misses Franks's sensitive parts.
