The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diamond as he jumps to the side.
Khan tries to clinch but Diamond is having none of it.
Khan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Diamond clinches up with Khan and pushes him back against the cage.

Khan manages to break the clinch.
Diamond throws a left and a right that both miss

and Khan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Diamond is looking to stand up but Khan isn't so interested in that idea.
Khan wants to control from the top but Diamond keeps moving.
Diamond on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Diamond tries to get out of the position.
Khan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Khan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Diamond's guard.
Khan wants to control from the top but Diamond keeps moving.
Khan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Diamond is keeping the position for now.
Diamond wants to stand up but Khan is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Khan stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Diamond connects with the punch.
Diamond scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Diamond sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Khan tries to clinch up
and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Diamond throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan.
Diamond bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Khan's head.
Diamond throws a right hand that Khan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khan also avoids with ease.
Diamond lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Amir Khan has been cut.
Khan fails to land the takedown.
Jack Diamond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Khan.
Khan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diamond cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Khan looks gassed!
Diamond throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Khan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Diamond is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Khan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Diamond throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Amir Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Diamond counters with a two punch combo.

Khan is rocked!
Diamond lands with a right and another and another! Khan is in big trouble! Diamond lands again and this time it's lights out for Khan! A quality knockout there for Diamond.
